Your favourite people, getting properly dressed up, probably more champagne than necessary, photos you'll love for years — and actually getting to enjoy the day while you're in it.

There's something pretty special about keeping it small.

Big things, little things, and the things that probably only matter to you and your people.

A birthday. Someone getting hitched. A baby on the way. Some good news. A friend back in town. Or finally getting everyone together after saying “we really should” for the last six months.

Sometimes it's nice to make a bit of an occasion of things.

Perfect is never really the plan.

Get a few people together, try something you haven't done before and see how it goes.

Someone will take it far too seriously. Someone will be surprisingly good at it. And someone will probably wonder what on earth they've made.

Maybe the making is just a good excuse to get everyone together.

I’m not sure there’s a perfect formula for a good day. But good people, something interesting to do and plenty of time to enjoy it come pretty close.

Having something to do together also takes the pressure off a little—especially when not everyone knows each other well, or someone is feeling a bit quiet or unsure. Busy hands have a lovely way of making conversation easier.

That’s the kind of day taking shape with Love, Lou. ♡

We’re all very good at saying, “We should get everyone together,” and then somehow letting another three months go by.

Love, Lou is for the plans that actually make it out of the group chat. Something lovely to do, time to catch up and no pressure for it to be anything more than that.

A little change around here…

Little Darling has been a lovely story, but what’s taking shape has grown beyond one space—or even one kind of gathering.

Love, Lou gives room for all of it: creative afternoons, small celebrations, weddings and whatever else might come along.

A new name, but the heart of it hasn’t changed. It’s still about bringing good people together and making the time feel special.

Same Lou. Just a little more room to grow.

A little update from us 🤎

Little Darling is currently taking a little break while we regroup, reset and dream up what’s next. This all happened a little unexpectedly and has been a very emotional time behind the scenes, but we’re incredibly grateful for all of the love and support we’ve received.

We’re hopeful this isn’t goodbye — just the beginning of a new chapter, with some exciting new concepts and cosy ideas already in the works ✨

Thank you for being part of Little Darling so far. We can’t wait to share what comes next.
